It was a release cycle shorter than usual. Substance 3D Stager 1.2.2 features a fix for the softwares issue where the audio sample was created for headphones instead of for speakers. The default config for this is a bit of an issue. In the Substance 3D Stager Preferences, change the setting for Audio Sound Output to Speakers. If you’re a linux user you can also change the setting to ALSA so that it uses the alsa daemon to route audio to the appropriate soundcard.

You can turn on a color scheme for the objects and create a color profile to apply that color scheme to any color you want.
Stager lets you edit the UV tile of the objects and you can do it in a pixel level, so you can move, rotate, and scale individual pixels in the tile. This is also an option if you want to assign the mipmap of the tile to a UV map in Photoshop.
We introduced a new way to let you create material presets. Now you can create them and save them in your project panel to save your time when creating materials. You can select different layer settings, apply the effects, or create the materials and save them to a preset folder.
When we were creating Stager, we noticed that a very common workflow was to export the materials you have created in Substance Designer as textures for your projects in Photoshop. In Substance 3D, we could do this through Photoshop. In the next version of Stager, weve added a way to let you easily save the rendered textures. You can save the textures directly or apply the project material preset that includes the texture type. This functionality was already available in our products such as Photoshop, ZBrush, or Mudbox.
